Prior to starting Carheel Consulting, LLC, McDonald worked in the casino and hospitality industry as a Director of Talent Sourcing and Staffing, recruiting and retaining top talent. He is widely respected for developing staffing plans for complicated and highly regulated mass hiring projects. In a four year period, those plans produced over 7,000 hires for corporate investment projects topping one billion dollars. McDonald also played a key role in helping to develop some of the industry’s most successful applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.

McDonald started Carheel Consulting, LLC in 2007 with the goal to become the nation’s top full service staffing solutions firm. His client base now includes diverse companies in the fields of gaming, hospitality, retail, information technology, education, professional sports, healthcare, finance, mining and metals.

McDonald has more than 11 years experience in the oversight and implementation of hiring personnel ranging from frontline staff to executive positions.  McDonald serves on the boards of The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), Business Services Advisory Group (Missouri Career Center), and the St. Louis Business Diversity Initiative.

McDonald earned a certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and holds a certificate in Theology from American Baptist College in Nashville, TN.
