Vera has accepted the challenge of serving as Senior Vice President of the Saint Louis Chapter of NAAAHR.
For the past year, she has served as the Director of Human Resources for Saint Louis University Hospital. Prior to this assignment, she served in the same capacity for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the largest non-profit hospital in the state of Missouri.
Daniel has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. As a generalist she is skilled in employee/labor relations, organizational development, recruitment and change management. She has held positions of increasing responsibility within HR with Monsanto, Quaker Oats and Kimberly Clark Corporation.
A graduate of the Disney Institute, The Center for Effective Leadership (CCL) and a previous guest lecturer at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA., Daniel has been recognized for her leadership skills by the St. Louis YWCA. She has also served as a Board Member for Metro Homeless Shelter, is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the National Human Resource Association, as well as, a Trustee of Washington Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
A native of Columbus, OH, she received her Bachelors Degree from The Ohio State University and her Master’s Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
Daniel prides herself on working with an organization to help them achieve their people vision and she looks forward to working with the local chapter of NAAAHR to achieve their short and long term goals.
