How do I become a member?

What does it cost to be a member of NAAAHR?

Are there any special restrictions for Student Memberships?
To be eligible for a Student Membership you must be a full time student who does not work full time in a paid position.
Is the membership fee tax deductible?
Yes, the membership is tax deductible.
I joined in May. When does my membership expire?
December of the same calendar year. NAAAHR has a calendar year membership period. All memberships are based on the January through December calendar year. All members (except Lifetime) must renew each January.
When I join, what will I receive?
You will receive a membership card, a certificate of membership and an NAAAHR lapel pin, usually within 4-6 weeks of sending your payment to the national P.O. Box. You will have access to an online directory of members, which can be used, for networking and other non-commercial purposes. As a paid member you benefit from NAAAHR partnerships with firms such as Ford & Harrison LLP.
Can I pay using my credit card?
Yes. Be sure you use the Membership Application and complete all information requested on page two. Or join and pay online.
How do I update my contact information?
To update your information with nationals, please use the login information provided with your membership or renewal to correct your contact information online immediately. For our local chapter, please contact

What’s the advantage of a calendar year membership policy?
Tracking expirations and renewals each month for thousands of people can be difficult and expensive. Offering pro-rated memberships based on month or quarter joined would make it even more challenging -- processing renewals and applications every month with the added complication of they’re being a different payment rate throughout the year.

What activities are held in addition to the general quarterly meetings?
The following are examples of activities in addition to the quarterly meetings: Certified learning sessions, community outreach activities, and networking events with other professional organizations.
How large is the Greater St. Louis Chapter of NAAAHR?
The Greater St. Louis Chapter of NAAAHR has 58 active members within our organization and over 400 professionals within our network.
When are chapter meetings and how long do they typically last?
Chapter meetings are quarterly (January, April, July, and October) and typically they are from 5:30pm – 8pm.
Do you offer job placement services?
We are affiliated with local and national firms that are looking to hire diverse candidates in a variety of career levels. Our local job board is updated frequently so that you always have up to date information.
Are there any local members on the National Board of Directors?
Yes. Mr. Glenn Dalton is currently Senior Advisory Council Chairperson.

What is 'Ask a VP'?
Ask a VP is a Gateway NAAAHR exclusive. Because we have a strong desire of advancing our members' business knowledge and careers, we are offering valid members a chance to submit questions to our board of executives! Once per month, one question will be chosen and forwarded to a director or VP with an expertise in the respective area. If your question is chosen, you will receive an email notification. Following, after a response is written, we will post them our site.
What is the benefit of the message forum?
The message forum could be used for a plethora of things: meet-and-greet, networking, sharing of advice and best practices, and general off-topic discussions. We encourage users to post as much and as often as you'd like.
